A lifelong resident of Salt Lake County, Tommy Thomsen grew up in West Jordan and is proud to serve the community he has always called home. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Utah and has owned and operated the Tommy Thomsen Agency since 2015.

Before entering the insurance industry, Tommy owned contracting companies and worked as a legal compliance agent for a securities transfer agent. He also holds Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses. Today, he specializes in business, home and life insurance, as well as financial services. His agency serves customers throughout Utah, Arizona, Idaho and Nevada and has earned Farmers® Topper club and Prime Agency recognition.

At the Tommy Thomsen Agency, education, responsiveness and lasting relationships are central to the customer experience. Tommy and his team provide personalized guidance, annual coverage reviews and support throughout the claims process. Their goal is to make insurance straightforward while helping customers find comprehensive, cost-effective solutions for their individual needs.

Outside the office, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoys hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Mountain West.
